ASA 2010 in Atlanta

I just found out that the special price for attendees is a mere $180/night… plus a 15% tax.

Or as we grad students would say “more than a half week’s pay. “

Does anyone know of any cheaper stays? I’m not averse to distances… or cockroaches.

  1. hotels.com is always a savior in these situations, if you ask me. And with their map view search you can find cheap hotels and know exactly how far it’ll be to the conference.

In your case, if you really want to live cheap, then I guess hostels.com is also an interesting source… ;-)

  2. See? I did a search and found Centennial Inn, $74/night and only a stone’s throw from the conference.

  3. Oh, and in case you didn’t know: after ten nights via hotels.com you get a credit for your next reservation equal to the average of your first ten nights. So there are extra savings as well.

I have nine nights, so I’m thrilled about the free nights I’ll be getting pretty soon…!
